Internal tools are rebuilt constantly, always slightly differently, always slightly wrong.
Idea
Describe the data contract once; let the interface derive itself and stay in sync.
What we built
A schema-driven renderer with editable views, permissions and audit trails generated from a single typed definition.
How it works
Schemas compile to a view graph at build time; runtime only resolves data and permissions, so screens stay fast and predictable.
Learnings
- Generated UI fails the moment it can't be escaped — overrides are the feature.
- Audit trails are the reason teams adopt, not the tables.
Future direction
A hosted workspace and an escape hatch that ejects to plain React components.
