Glasshouse

A composable interface layer that lets teams assemble internal tools from typed data contracts.

Glasshouse hero visual

Problem

Internal tools are rebuilt constantly, always slightly differently, always slightly wrong.

Idea

Describe the data contract once; let the interface derive itself and stay in sync.

What we built

A schema-driven renderer with editable views, permissions and audit trails generated from a single typed definition.

How it works

Schemas compile to a view graph at build time; runtime only resolves data and permissions, so screens stay fast and predictable.

Learnings

  • Generated UI fails the moment it can't be escaped — overrides are the feature.
  • Audit trails are the reason teams adopt, not the tables.

Future direction

A hosted workspace and an escape hatch that ejects to plain React components.
